The ESCO team had the pleasure to present ESCO and interact with leaders of EU and American companies active in the talent acquisition industry
The conference was organised by TAtech: The Association for Talent Acquisition Solutions which is the trade organization for the worldwide community of organizations that offer technology-based products and services for recruitment. Currently, their members represent digital media companies and publishers, job boards, online classified advertising companies, ad buying platforms and networks, aggregators, social media sites, applicant tracking system companies, recruitment advertising agencies, big data and analytics companies, recruitment marketing companies, mobile app developers, etc that account for ۷۰,۰۰۰ sites worldwide
The conference focused on the latest technological trends in the talent acquisition industry in Europe.The ESCO team gave an overview of EU’s policy in fostering labour mobility, of CEDEFOP’s analysis of online job vacancies and ESCO’s mission and added-value for job boards (including use cases and current users). The audience was especially interested to learn how ESCO related to O*NET, about the plans for updating the classification and how ESCO can support employees in life-long learning based on skills analysis
There was a general interest in knowing more about how EU tools can support private companies in their business. The conference was also a good opportunity to discover and exchange with newly identified ESCO users and to organise networking meetings with potential users of ESCO.
